Check out this new demo preview from the upcoming Rue Valley developed in Unity 6. We played the first 30 minutes of gameplay with a RTX 5090 in a 4K monitor (no commentary). This new game is an isometric narrative CRPG with strong narrative, choices, dialogue, character stats and character development but no combat. It's often compared to modern CRPGs like Disco Elysium. The time loop aspect of the game will also remind you to games like Outer Wilds. *_Description:_* The main character, Eugene Harrow, is trapped in a mysterious time loop that resets every 47 minutes. You must use each loop to gather information, make new choices, and uncover the truth before the cycle restarts. *_Gameplay Features:_* Narrative and Self-Discovery: The game centers on a deeply emotional and psychological story. Harrow must deal with his own mental struggles, doubts, and depression as he tries to uncover the origin of the anomaly in the small, godforsaken town of Rue Valley. Personality System: Your dialogues and decisions shape the protagonist's personality profile. This evolving profile, along with temporary "Status Effects" (like being more outgoing when drunk or sensitive when anxious), alters how you interact with the world and how other characters react to you. Setting and Style: It features a unique, visually striking comic book-inspired art style and atmosphere.
