Ghost of Yotei - All Nine Tails' Puzzle Boxes Locations & Solutions (Trickster Fox Trophy Guide)

There are 12 Nine Tails Puzzle Box Locations in Ghost of Yotei. Finding all puzzle boxes and their solutions to open them will unlock the Trickster Fox Trophy (Solve all the Nine Tails’ puzzle boxes). They are exclusively found in Teshio Ridge region, the snowy area in the north. 5 are found in the open world (of which 4 are from Kitsune Altars), and the other 7 are rewards from the enemy camps in Teshio Ridge. The puzzle boxes are obtained in a fixed order regardless of what location you get them from. So the first will always be Interesting Box, the second is always Peculiar Box and so on. The video shows all 12 locations first, then the solutions at the end once all have been collected. You must open them in the Inventory under Puzzle Boxes, then complete a little minigame where you slide the stripes and panels on the boxes in the correct order to open them. None of them are missable, everything can be done after the story in free roam.
