This new title is an isometric open world strategy RPG that features a distinctive stylized art style that blends medieval history with dark fantasy horror, similar to Diablo and The Witcher spin-offs like Thronebreaker. It features the management of Battle Brothers and the tactical combat of real-time strategy games. *_Description:_* Band of Crusaders is a dark medieval strategy RPG set in a corrupted version of Europe. The Knight Orders have fallen, and an eldritch, demonic invasion is consuming the land. You take on the role of Grandmaster, leading a ragtag company of knights and outcasts to fight back against the forces of Chaos. *_Gameplay Features:_* - Real-Time Tactical Combat: unlike many games in this genre that are turn-based, combat happens in real-time. However, it features a "slow-motion" or tactical pause mechanic, allowing you to issue commands, set up combos, and react to enemy movements strategically. - Deep Character Customization: There are no preset rigid classes. Instead, you build your Crusaders' identities through extensive skill trees, attributes, and weapon choices. You can mold a peasant into a heavy tank or a sniper depending on the gear and abilities you choose. - Camp Management: Between battles, you must manage your roster, upgrade your camp, repair armor, and recruit new members to replace the fallen. - Dynamic World Map: The campaign map changes over time.
