We played the first 1 hour of the early alpha version of the game with RTX 5090 in a 4K monitor (no commentary). This new game is an upcoming free to play Extraction Action RPG. It blends high-stakes extraction mechanics with hack and slash combat that will remind you of Diablo 4, Titan Quest 2, Path of Exile 2, Escape from Tarkov, Dark and Darker and Hunt Showdown! In essence, Gods, Death & Reapers aims to be the experience of looting and killing monsters from a Diablo game, with the risk and tension of a Tarkov. *_Description:_* The game is set in a brutal, post-apocalyptic dark fantasy afterlife where the mythological realms are in ruins because their gods are dead. You are recruited by Death himself to restore balance to these shattered worlds, starting with Norse mythology. *_Gameplay Features:_* - Gameplay Core: The main mode is a high-stakes Extraction RPG. Players venture into dangerous maps (PvPvE environments) to complete objectives, fight deadly enemies, and clash with other players (Reapers). Another feature includes a safe single-player story campaign and a PvE co-op mode for players who want to experience the narrative without the constant threat of player-versus-player combat. - Risk vs. Reward: If you successfully extract from the map, you secure the valuable loot, gear, and artifacts you collected, which you can use to expand and upgrade your Sanctuary (your hidden home base).
