Check out this new exclusive Steam Next Fest 2025 preview demo from the upcoming IRE: A Prologue developed in Unreal Engine 5. We captured this work in progress footage with RTX 5090 and 4K monitor (no commentary). This is an upcoming first person psychological horror game focused on narrative, stealth, and puzzle-solving that will remind you of Alien: Isolation, Resident Evil Requiem, Outlast and Amnesia! In short, it is a "hide-and-seek" horror experience where you are constantly stalked by an adaptive monster within a time-looping mystery in the Bermuda Triangle. *_Description:_* Players assume the role of Emily, a young teenager searching for her missing father. Emily is trapped in a terrifying time loop. To uncover the truth about her father's disappearance and escape the nightmare, she must unlock thirteen mysterious doors on the ship. Each loop reveals new secrets and advances the dark narrative. *_Gameplay Features:_* Genre Focus: The gameplay centers on narrative, puzzle-solving, and pure stealth/evasion. It is inspired by classic 80s and 90s horror. The Monster: The main threat is a relentless and intelligent monster. Crucially, the player has no means of combat and must rely entirely on stealth to survive. Survival Mechanics: Survival depends on using the environment to hide (in closets, vents, etc.), distracting the creature with objects, and carefully listening to its movements. The monster is designed to learn from the player's actions, making evasion progressively more challenging.
