This new game is an immersive psychological survival horror game that follows the macabre story of a geophysicist. Kriophobia is heavily influenced by the classic survival horror genre, particularly games that utilized fixed camera angles and pre-rendered environments. In summary, it resembles the classic survival horror formula, prioritizing exploration, tension, and evasive combat (running and hiding) over direct action. The game will remind you of classic Resident Evil, classic Silent Hill, The Thing and Alone in the Dark! *_Description:_* Trapped in the depths of a frozen Soviet bunker, geophysicist Anna must survive deadly cold, horrifying abominations, and the trauma of a buried past. A third-person survival horror blending psychological storytelling with hand-drawn static cameras. *_Gameplay Features:_* - Setting: She travels to the frozen and desolate Zhokhov Island to study magnetic anomalies but becomes trapped in the depths of an abandoned Soviet bunker/military base. - Gameplay: It returns to the roots of the survival horror genre, featuring a third-person perspective with fixed, hand-drawn static cameras, evoking classics like Silent Hill. - Survival: Anna must survive against deadly freezing temperatures and horrific, monstrous abominations with limited resources.
