There's only really two different attack patterns the boss will do, the quick double attack, and the longer single attack. Both with the chance to do a sweeping attack after. If you're dodging and going for the backstab, you need to hit the backstab immediately after the longer attack. If you delay, it will do a sweeping attack that will hit you. If you're fast enough, you get the easy backstab. If you give the boss the Gold Fruit Coin, you skip the fight and get the Black Cat Mask anyway. Haven't had a chance to play for the last few days, so I'm sorry for the delay. But will finish up with the last few bosses over the weekend hopefully.
