He hits hard but doesn't have much health at this point in the game. Just call your Mimic Tear to distract him, then shoot Great Glintstone Tear spells at him from behind and he'll die within a few seconds. There are two Tree Sentinel bosses on the same path close together here, but you can fight them one by one.
