Check out this final gameplay from the new Silent Hill f developed in Unreal Engine 5 by the studio NeoBards, Resident Evil co-developers and mostly known for collaborating with Capcom. This is the first main Silent Hill game Konami has released since Silent Hill Downpour in 2012. This new footage features the first 35 minutes of the game. We captured this new exclusive footage with RTX 5090 and 4K monitor (no commentary). This game is a single player third person horror game with brutal monsters that will remind you of Fatal Frame, Silent Hill 2 Remake and Cronos The New Dawn! *_👹 Inspirations:_* Silent Hill f takes a different creative approach from its predecessors by drawing its inspiration primarily from Japanese culture and folklore. Unlike the Western horror influences of the original games (like Stephen King and David Lynch), Silent Hill f is heavily inspired by traditional Japanese legends and spirits, such as the yokai. The game is set in 1960s Japan, which allows it to fully embrace this aesthetic. The game's developers have mentioned being inspired by the works of the renowned horror manga artist Junji Ito, known for his grotesque and unsettling body horror. This is reflected in the game's creature and environmental designs. The game's writer, Ryukishi07, is famous for his work on horror visual novel series like Higurashi When They Cry.
