Konami announced that Silent Hill F sold over one million copies within just 24 hours of release. That’s faster than the Silent Hill 2 remake, which took a few days to hit the same number. Silent Hill F takes players to Japan’s Showa era, following high school student Hinako Shimizu as her small town is engulfed in fog and turned into a nightmare. It’s psychological horror with a Japanese cultural twist, and while it leans more into action than past entries, it’s already dividing opinions among fans. Next up is a fan-favourite Rockstar title, Bully. Back on the PlayStation 2, Bully was a completely different kind of game. Instead of gang wars or cowboys, it followed Jimmy Hopkins in the chaos of boarding school. For years, fans have been asking for Bully 2, and recently, Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser explained why it never happened. The reason? Pragmata, Capcom’s mysterious sci-fi game. First revealed in 2020 during the PS5 showcase, it was originally set for 2022. But after multiple delays, it’s now planned for 2026. That’s nearly an entire console generation late. So, why has it taken so long? Dying Light: The Beast. Techland’s latest entry in the franchise has been a massive hit right out of the gate, selling over 1.5 million copies in its first week. More than a million of those were on PC alone, and data shows that most of the players were already fans of the series. Over 80 percent had played the original Dying Light, and more than 70 percent had played Dying Light 2. The Beast also had over a million pre-orders before launch, proving how excited the community was for the return of Kyle Crane. After wrapping up a successful TGS 2025, the organizers announced something big: TGS 2026 will expand from four days to five. This is the first major change to the format since 2002, making it one of the only gaming expos to actually grow after 2020. With major players like Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Capcom showing up in recent years, it’s no surprise attendance has soared. But the real question is—will TGS 2026 become the biggest gaming event yet?
