When leaving an area you can't go back. There is no free-roam or chapter select. If you missed something, reload last save. - Clues and Documents count toward the "Discoveries" in the end screen when completing the game. The endings are determined by the amount of Discoveries you've collected vs. how many enemies you've defeated. Getting all collectibles will lock you into the "Abandoned" Ending. - There are maps for the areas but they need to be found in the environment first (included here).
